As the masses of nouveau 'sneaker heads' who enjoy camping out & lining up and/or paying $300+ for a pair made 'rare' immediately, are too lazy to dig for cheap ACTUALLY rare kicks, and probably couldn't tell you the difference between a Workout Classic w/ a strap and a 54.11 already knooooooow, Nike applied for a patent to make Marty McFly's last year.
